Luke reveals the humanity of Jesus while showing us how to be intimate with the divine Christ. Luke’s Gospel is the universal call to salvation for men and women, rich and poor. In Luke, we will see the ultimate healing Jesus wants to give each one of us through this gift of salvation. Luke’s Gospel is also called the Gospel of Mercy. The theme of divine mercy and compassion is evident throughout the gospel from beginning to end. Join us as we study this beautiful gospel to draw closer to Our Lord through prayer and mercy and by seeking the lost.
Cost is $40.00 before September 11th, $50.00 after (materials included).

Power Hour is an evening prayer group that is open to all. The Lord and our Blessed Mother call us time and time again to deepen our prayer lives, and this is a unique opportunity to participate whether you are just beginning to pray or have a rich prayer life.
During this powerful hour, we praise and worship through song, adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and enjoy individual and group prayer.
Please come to experience this powerful hour and feel welcome to bring a friend or family member. All are welcome!
CATHOLICS WELCOME HOME
Begins October 7, 2009
Do you know someone who has been away from the church? Statistics show that most people come back through the invitation of a family member or a friend. You may be the person who brings someone back to the Church. Please invite them to Catholics Welcome Home, a six week series beginning Wednesday, October 7 at 6:30 pm in the School Media Center.
We offer the opportunity for our Catholic brothers and sisters to reconnect with the Church in a series of informal sessions in friendly, helpful surroundings. We would like to address their questions and make them feel at home once more in the Catholic Church. For information, please call Andy Smith, 404-303-8276 or email ajs4545@comcast.net.
A DVD series
Mondays, September 14 - November 30, 2009
Hyland Center, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Church history is not just the recitation of popes, people, places, and events; it is a story of adventure, intrigue, rebellion, reform, and devotion. This story is, in fact, our story; this is our family. If we know our past, and how we fit into the story, we will be better prepared to face whatever may come in the future.
Cost is $35.00 before September 7th, $45.00 after (includes workbook).
